I started kiteboarding in Noordwijk in 2000 and pretty quickly realised I didn’t want to do much else.
Competition took me onto the World Tour, but Big Air became the real obsession. Going higher. Looping harder. Finding what was possible before anyone really knew where the limit was.
The Megaloop became part of that story. So did injuries, storms, films, travel, brands, events and a generation of riders who pushed everything much further again.
I’m still here for the same reason I started: I love it.
